Shipping, Return, & Custom Order Policies

Shipping Policy

Ready‑Made Orders

Shipping rates, delivery times, and carriers are shown at checkout. Once an order has shipped, Threads & Leather is not responsible for delays or carrier issues.

Custom Orders

Production time:

  • Standard: 7–14 business days

  • Busy seasons: 15–30 business days

Insurance & Signature Options

  • All packages include USPS standard insurance

  • Additional paid insurance upgrades are available

  • Signature‑required delivery is available upon request

Lost in Mail

Once USPS marks a package as “Accepted,” Threads & Leather is not liable for non‑delivery, theft, or loss.

Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to us as undeliverable, the buyer is responsible for return shipping if costs cannot be recouped.

U.S. Only

We currently ship within the United States only.

Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations

Return Guidelines

  • Request return within 5 days of delivery

  • 15% restocking fee applies

  • Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging

  • Return shipping is not covered by Threads & Leather

Exclusions

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized orders

  • Return requests outside the return window

Exchanges

Exchanges are accepted with a 15% restocking fee. Items must meet the return guidelines above.

Cancellations

  • Non‑personalized orders may be canceled within 24 hours if they have not shipped

  • Custom or personalized items cannot be canceled once production has begun

Custom Order Policy

General Statement

  • Custom orders are non‑refundable

  • Digital proofs are provided

  • At least 1 revision is included; additional revisions are at seller’s discretion

  • Once a proof is approved, no changes may be made

  • Customers may not provide their own materials
